INA, Ill. (January 24, 2025) — The Warriors basketball teams both had big wins over John A. Logan College on Wednesday, January 22.

The Lady Warriors started off the night with a 68-44 convincing win over the Lady Vols. Haley Dillman led the way with 23 points, followed by Carly Foster’s 17. Alaina Maurer chipped in with 10. The ladies led from start to finish and enjoyed the best performance of the season.

The men’s team followed suit, by winning 89-77. The Vols led at 8-7 and after that is was all Rend Lake. The lead ballooned to 20 points at 66-46, but the Warriors had to withstand a late flurry from the Vols to hold on and win by 12. The Warriors were led by Zeke Wilson’s 21 points and Rolen Adams had 19. Greg Cole scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half and came up with some big shots down the stretch. Wilson also had 12 rebounds to lead the way on the boards against the bigger Vols.

Both teams are back in action this Saturday, January 25, at Shawnee.
