INA, Ill. (May 6, 2025) — The Warriors baseball finished season 14-16 in the GRAC and are looking to get hot in the Region tournament.

The Warriors will be the six seed in the region tournament and play Wabash Valley, the three seed. SWIC, the two seed, will host Lincoln Trail in the other half of the double elimination bracket all to be played at SWIC from May 8-10. The winner of the Region tournament will head to region 4 (Chicago area winner) along with the winner from region 11 and the other half of region 24 being played at John A. Logan

The Warriors offense has been led by Sophomores Dom Davis and Cadwell Turner who both hit over .350 for the season. Sophomore Colin McClure leads the team with 40 RBIs, while Davis leads the team with 6 HR. Freshman Alex Calhoun has led the pitching staff out of the bullpen with a 2.67 ERA, while Sophomore Kemper Whisman and Freshman Eli Maynor have been mainstays in the Warriors rotation. Freshman Ty Wilzbacher leads the team with 5 saves out of the pen as well.
